The Astronomy Photographer of the Year 16 competition is now open for entries! Enter up to ten images before 12 noon (GMT) on the fifth of March 2024 to win prizes of up to £10,000.

There is a £10 fee per entrant to enter the competition, covering up to ten images. The Young Competition and Special Prizes are exempt from this fee.

This year we have made some changes to the rules to address AI image generation and other new types of image modification. So please take a look at the rules on our website, even if you're a returning entrant.
