Apeldoorn, May 16, 2026. Apeldoorn Photo introduces a special new event that puts the city on the national and international map as a city of photography: the Apeldoorn Photo Award. This biennial photo competition is unique to Apeldoorn and is organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Apeldoorn.

With the Apeldoorn Photo Award, Apeldoorn Photo creates a new platform for both amateur and professional photographers from home and abroad. The competition revolves around imagination, quality, and telling visual stories, befitting the character of Apeldoorn as a city of space, nature, and creativity.
