ABSURIA, the International Festival of Abstract and Surrealist Photography in Tours, is organizing a competition to select the world’s best abstract and surrealist photographers.

Professional or amateur category.

The nominees and winners are exhibited during the four-month festival, which takes place in the city of Tours, capital of Touraine and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In this exceptional setting, the winners of the various categories receive the prestigious awards for Abstract Photographer of the Year and Surrealist Photographer of the Year.

The 100 nominated and winning photographs are all exhibited, in addition to physical venues, in the festival website’s 3D virtual galleries for an unlimited duration.

The ABSURIA Festival is a 100% physical and digital festival designed to offer photographers the best possible visibility through both physical and digital exhibitions.

All categories of abstraction and surrealism are accepted:

- urban, nature, ICM, light painting… and regardless of the equipment used.
