In today’s dynamic photographic landscape, we are witnessing significant transformations that challenge the traditions imposed by media, institutions and photographers. This creates the need to expand beyond photography. The proliferation of amateur photography, digital circulation and the diversity of expressions are redefining the way we perceive and communicate images. Social media, technological advances and the abundance of images push us to constantly explore and redefine visual storytelling and how to publish, exhibit or present it. This also imposes a responsibility on us towards our environment and the communities we choose to photograph. It is no longer just about photographically exploring the territory as spectators.
