The LUMA Rencontres Dummy Book Award is once again being offered by Les Rencontres de la photographie and the LUMA foundation for the 54th edition of the festival. This prize, initiated in 2015, provides a production budget of €25,000 to professional photographers and artists who use photography, for the purpose of publishing a never-before-published book model. The award places special emphasis on innovative and experimental editorial formats. The deadline for applications is May 15, 2023, and a jury formed by Les Rencontres de la photographie and the LUMA Foundation will select the shortlisted dummies and the winning book model. These will be exhibited as part of the official program of the 2023 festival, with the support of the LUMA Foundation.
