To mark the 10th anniversary of Fisheye, we are launching an open call for entries open to all, without age limits. The prize? An exhibition at the Fisheye Gallery during the Rencontres d'Arles, a publication in the pages of the magazine, and many other surprises... Try your luck before March 31, 2023!

At Fisheye, we have been striving for ten years to spot, promote, and support artists in an original way. Whether through the magazine, the website, the walls of the two Fisheye Galleries in Arles and Paris, or within Fisheye Editions, we aim to celebrate the diversity and richness of contemporary photography. To perfect this mission, we are launching our Fisheye Prize for visual creation, open to all, regardless of age or nationality. A prize aimed at rewarding visually striking work that is original in both form and content.

"Tell, Inspire, Reveal," these three keywords serve as a leitmotif and fundamental principles at Fisheye and will also serve as a stimulus for the candidates. Indeed, keeping these three aspects in mind, each participant will be free to propose - through the genre and photographic practice of their choice - their own vision of the world, always making sure to tell it in a unique way. Don't waste any more time, and apply now!

How to participate? As a reminder, the prize is open to all - amateurs or professionals, regardless of nationality or age. To participate, simply send a single participation folder to the following address before March 31, 2023: prixfisheye@fisheyemagazine.fr - including:

A series or portfolio (between 15 and 20 images) in the form of a PDF (not WeTransfer); A text of intention and indications on the form of the project (in French or English). The rewards: After the call for entries, a jury - composed of members of Fisheye including Benoit Baume, director of editorial and publication, Eric Karsenty, editor-in-chief, Lou Tsatsas, web editor-in-chief, Lisa Cadot, creative director, Salomé d'Ornano, head of the Fisheye Gallery, and personalities from the world of photography - will announce the winner and finalists in the spring on our website and social media.

The winner will receive the prize during the opening week of the Rencontres d'Arles. They will be the subject of an exhibition at the Fisheye Gallery in Arles, a publication in Fisheye, a book published by Fisheye Editions, and finally a Focus video format broadcast on our website and social media.

The five finalists will be highlighted through a special publication in the summer issue of the magazine.
