Realize your photo concept in Hamburg and strengthen the Hamburg photography scene at the same time! Apply or apply for our newly created project funding Heartbeat Photo until 20.01.22 .
Heartbeat Photo is aimed at doers from a wide variety of disciplines who want to fill Hamburg with life as a photography location with their work and ideas and create new meeting places and events. We are looking for groundbreaking, innovative concepts that give your photography and photography in Hamburg more visibility and reach interested people and photography enthusiasts in Hamburg.
How does your project have a positive effect on the Hamburg photography scene? How do you reach those who are interested and how do you get people excited about photography in these times? Whether a new exhibition format, a new gallery or mediation concept, a photo walk, a symposium, a poster campaign or an app - many ideas are possible. Apply with your innovative concept.
The applicants selected by the expert jury of the circle of friends receive financial support of a maximum of 5,000 euros and are supported with publicity measures. This includes the award and presentation of the project as part of the Circle of Friends program as well as publicity in the Circle of Friends media and beyond. Further communication and marketing activities are organized by the funding recipients themselves as an important pillar of the concept. Searchedinnovative concept ideas, personal visions are thought outside the box, project plans that support the visibility of the medium of photography in Hamburg. New concepts of photography that have not yet been realized can be submitted. The topic, the question and the media for implementation can be freely selected.
All actors from a wide range of disciplines from Hamburg who combine work with photography can apply. All photographers, curators, scientists, students, autodidacts and other vocations are invited. There are no professional restrictions and no age limit.
The project will be organized and produced independently by the funding recipient in Hamburg from February to September 2022 and will be presented and made accessible to the public from August 2022.
