The European Meteorological Society is excited to announce the Europhotometeo 2024 (EPM2024) photography competition, administered in collaboration with the Asociación Meteorológica Española (AME). The competition takes place on www.emetsoc.org, and participants are subject to the associated privacy policy.
Summary of Terms & Conditions:
Eligibility: The competition is open to all individuals interested in participating. Each author is allowed to submit one photo, and the submitted photo must have been taken by the author.
Prizes: The Europhotometeo 2024 competition offers cash prizes for the top three photos:
First Prize: €1000
Second Prize: €500
Third Prize: €250
Deadline: Registration and photo uploads must be completed by January 15, 2024.
Photo Criteria: Only digital photos directly related to clouds or other meteorological phenomena taken between 2022 and 2023 will be considered. Submissions should include a short description, original resolution, technical equipment used, and details on where and when the photo was taken, including the country. All information should be provided in English.
Copyright: All submissions to EPM2024 are copyrighted under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 license. Authors have the option to choose a more restrictive license. Photos must not infringe upon the copyright of any third party or violate an individual's right to their own image.
Submission Process: All photos must be uploaded to the EPM2024 website, and registration requires the author's full name and email address.
