With the title "Photography in Progress", the Open Call spans a thematic framework for artistic examinations of the medium of photography, whose production mechanisms are just as changing as they can produce new visual languages and uses. "Photography in Progress" focuses on contemporary thematic areas of photography and at the same time illuminates how constantly changing digital image practices can affect artistic approaches. With the Open Call, the Photoscene gives current photographic positions a platform and looks forward to a wide range of submissions from artists who work with the medium of photography and its extended sense of the post-photographic.
