About:
Your proposal must consist of a slideshow/photocast presentation of your chosen photography series with a soundtrack that does not infringe on anyone's copyright (preferably using CC-licensed background music). It must not exceed 5 minutes and must be self-contained—meaning, the same format we will present to the festival audience on March 27th. This means it should include a project description and a bio of the author in simplified text. Additionally, the bio and description must be sent separately in a text file in the submission email.
The material should be sent in a non-public link (YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive, we do not accept WeTransfer) to: rybnikfotofestival@gmail.com . In the subject line of the message, please write: First name Last name – slideshow.
Authors selected for the slideshow will receive accommodations in Rybnik for the duration of the festival (March 27-29, 2026), and their names will be featured on posters and announced in individual posts on our Facebook and Instagram profiles. One photograph from each slideshow author's series will be published on our website and in the printed festival catalog.
