Photo Project Pro - Virtually Photo Contest

VIRTUALLY is the most complete and most effective photo contest capable of identifying the most interesting projects and the most promising authors in contemporary photography. A fundamental tool that, through extraordinary visibility, contributes to the development of the professional and artistic career of every photographer, at any level. The numbers speak for themselves. Every month, thousands of users visit this site to explore in detail the numerous activities that we propose to the audience of authors. More or less 20,000 unique monthly (read here) users browse these pages in search of new proposals to learn about or more simply new inspirations. A huge pool of industry insiders who know the names of the authors who have submitted the most original and interesting projects. VIRTUALLY is the photo contest in which we firmly believe and within which all our efforts to ensure that artistic photography can be shared and celebrated on a large scale converge.

The result is a photo contest that takes place several times a year, ensuring that participants are appreciated by many different experts in the field, with different aesthetic sensitivities and different ways of interpreting photography.

For each call, the committee, based on the quality of the submitted projects, reserves the right to indicate from 5 to 15 finalists. The selected ones will be invited to hold the extraordinary month-long group exhibition within the technological exhibition space Etherea gallery. The exhibition will be accompanied by a digital catalog published on the dedicated page of the website.

But it doesn't end there. For each group show, the names of the authors and the image of their respective projects will be posted on Photo Project Pro's Facebook page for the public to express a preference. The author with the most preferences by the end of the exhibition will be awarded the title of Virtually Most Shared as the most popular author.

That's not all! At the end of the year among all the participants of the 6 exhibitions, 6 authors will be nominated by the committee to be awarded the title of Virtually Excellence for the best photographic project. Finally, all recipients of this prestigious title will get an individual interview published in Underlined in both Italian and English versions.

The names of Most Shared and Excellence will be published in the Page of Fame for the relevant year and will be featured in the digital catalog created with texts and images of the relevant projects. The catalog will also be published in the Page of Fame so that it can be downloaded for the benefit of interested users.

Selectees are required to pay a participation fee as a partial contribution to organizational expenses. Modalities and costs are specified within the regulations.
