Show us your photos of cool dispassionate neutrals, sophisticated deep charcoal, a glimmer of gray in a color landscape, the mid tones of a perfect b/w print… Neither stark white nor imposing black, gray is the ultimate negotiator, and the color of complexity. Gray is the color of intellect and of compromise. It’s a diplomatic color, balancing the distance between black and white. Gray can be elegant, cool, and a bit mysterious.v “The color of truth is gray.” Andre Gide Photographs in black and white or color are eligible. All photo-based work will be considered.v This exhibit is open to artists in the greater Bay Area*. Accepted work must be hand delivered and picked up. We can’t accept shipped photos – * however if you live outside the Bay Area and have a friend who can deliver and pick up – we can accept those pieces.
