For the twenty-sixth year, Canon is awarding the Canon Women Photojournalist Grant to a photographer in recognition of her contribution to photojournalism.

This scholarship, awarded annually in Perpignan during the Visa pour l’Image – Perpignan International Photojournalism Festival, is funded by Canon with a grant of 8,000 euros. It is intended to support a female photographer in the creation of a photojournalism project. It is open to professional female photojournalists, with no restrictions on age or nationality.

The winner will be selected in June by a jury composed of professionals from the fields of photography and journalism. Selection criteria include photographic quality, as well as journalistic approach and the relevance of the chosen subject.
