FREE ENTRY / The Climate Biennale Vienna

The Climate Biennale Vienna is calling on art initiatives, free spaces, producer galleries, artist run and independent spaces, small art associations and other non-commercial art spaces from Vienna to submit innovative and courageous exhibition projects that deal with the local in the face of the global Addressing challenges in light of the climate crisis.

Selected projects will be part of a pan-city, pan-curatorial and central exhibition project of the Vienna Climate Biennale 2024. The individual projects should, if possible, be individual positions (including collectives); exceptions are possible in individual cases. The exhibitions are implemented independently in terms of content and technology in the respective spaces; The rooms themselves are designed, curated and realized.

The Biennale covers production costs of up to €2,000 for the selected projects, depending on the type and needs. Any additional costs must be borne by the rooms themselves or other funding, third-party funds or sponsors.
