The Kometa Fellows program funds a year's work for authors (journalists, writers, or photographers) who document reality in contexts of war, censorship, or intense political and social tension. Each Fellow receives €10,000 in funding thanks to a committed sponsor.
Twelve Fellows will be selected in 2026, through two calls for applications. The first call for applications was launched on May 22, 2026, focusing on two themes: disinformation and narrative warfare / political and social transformations in the Gulf . A second call will be published in the winter.
