FOTOHOF>CALLING is an international open call organized by FOTOHOF Salzburg that supports emerging and mid-career artists working in contemporary photography. The program offers a platform for presenting recent projects (not older than three years) that have not yet been widely exhibited in institutional contexts.

Selected artists are first featured online through a preselection, and a final group is invited to Salzburg to present their work in person. The event combines public presentations, professional feedback sessions, and exhibition formats—including screenings and outdoor projections—encouraging dialogue between artists, curators, and audiences.

FOTOHOF>CALLING aims to foster exchange, visibility, and critical discussion within the international photography community, providing participants with opportunities for networking and professional development.
