Created in 2015, the Foto em Pauta Award's main objective is to encourage and disseminate original photography through the publication of photography books. The award is exclusively for debut artists—those who have not yet published a book.

The award seeks to value books as a support for creation and reflection, contributing to the strengthening of the independent publishing scene in the field of photography.

In 2025, we will hold another edition in partnership with Fotofestival SOLAR, Editora Tempo d'Imagem and Rona Editora — strengthening its collaborative vocation and national scope.
