FREE ENTRY / 9th Chania International Photo Festival 2026

Chania International Photo festival has been created by Blank Wall Gallery. Its aim is to turn the town of Chania into an international centre of artistic expression focusing on photography. During the last eight years, we managed to make this festival an established international institution. The festival will take place in a building dating back from 1595, known as the Grand Arsenali, which is one of the most important cultural centers in Crete. Some of the biggest events, which take place in Chania, are hosted in its premises. It is easily accessible and visited by thousands of people daily. All photographers, amateurs and professionals who are over 18, are eligible to participate to the contest.

The submission of photographs for the specific contest is free.

Only the artists who will be chosen to participate in the exhibition and be presented at the web page of Cip festival, will have to pay the participation fee.

Entries must be submitted no later than March 31 2026. Beyond this date no submission will be accepted.

Each photographer is entitled to a single submission to which he may submit from one to five photographs.
