Photographers, it’s that time again! The Booooooom Photo Awards are back for a fourth year and submissions are now open. This year’s categories are Portrait, Nature, Street, Colour, and for the first time-ever, a special Student category. Our friends at Format are once again partnering with us to make it all happen. We’re thrilled to have an elite panel of judges joining us this year to help highlight the most outstanding work. Each category winner will receive a $1,000 USD cash prize, editorial and social coverage, a feature in our printed publication, and some goodies from some of our friends. Plus, we’re giving away three lifetime Format website subscriptions.

Format is the online portfolio builder for illustrators, designers, artists and photographers. Streamlined for the needs of professional creators, the platform offers over 90 themes with extensive design variables. Their new flex block tool allows users to drag and drop images, video, text, buttons, and more to create bespoke layouts. You can also sell your work commission free through the Format store. This zine won’t be for sale; instead, we will send it directly to people we admire (editors, curators, tastemakers, you get the idea). Winners and runners-up will each receive a copy as well as editorial coverage on Booooooom and promotion across our social channels. We will also have a longlist of 100+ photographers who will be promoted across our social channels.
